What the Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell

This book was about being able to get inside the decisions that people make and what it must have been like to be in their shoes when an event happened to them. Gladwell wants to truly understand the processes people and among other things dogs go through when faced with a decision, discipline  or problem they have to face. With everything from JFK Jr's plane crash and how it happened to Caesar Milan and how he tames dogs with a single touch.
I honestly think this book and his other book Blink, are almost the same story, almost like a continuation. This book has just been grouped together with a slightly different theme. I had the same problem with this book as I did with Blink though... it got boring.  The subject matter is interesting but so repetitive and about half way through reading (or in my case listening) I was like "Yes, we get it!"
I don't mean to dissuade anyone from reading his books.  Like I said what he is writing about is very interesting and gives good insight to the human condition and also a good change up to read if your book shelf is full of Patterson novels and twilight sagas.
I would really enjoy hearing feedback on what you think of Gladwell's books if not What the Dog Saw then any of his other books and also if you know of anything similar to him you would like me to read and review.

A Dance With Dragons ... update!

Finally past the 100 page mark and the book is getting GOOD! For those of you have read the Game of Thrones series, George R. R. Martin does not hold back!  And this book is setting up to be a brutal tale. Reading at Barnes and Noble in Tallahassee while Manda studies, so finally getting some quality reading in.

What is your favorite Game of Thrones book?

The Moonlit Mind (Novella): A Tale of Suspense by Dean Koontz

This is a prequel to Koontz 77 Shadow Street which I read on my nook a few months ago. I didn't do a review of it.  But I also don't really remember much of it :) I know it was about a creepy mansion that was converted into apartments and it was in some sort of time warp between here and a hellacious future.
This (The Moonlit Mind) is a 125 page book so I should be able to blast through this in my phone in random moments while still reading A Dance With Dragons and also being a comic book collecting bad ass and also listening to What the Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell on audio book in my car. ... in short I am awesome.

One Year Bible

Did I mention I am reading the Bible? Yeah I am. I figure it's a pretty epic tale so might as well give it a shot. The book is a one year break down of the Bible where you read a lil old testament, a lil new testament, Psalms and Proverbs. So far I'm doing well but am a lil behind this last week.
Have you read the Bible?

Update time!

So I have attempted to read A Dance With Dragons 3 times now and have been thwarted with distractions each time. Comic books have been a big oart of that. I have been reading a lot of them. But I am finally making ground in the DwD book and look to blast through it soon and let you know how I feel about it.

Also i am playing with the idea of another blog about my new found love of comics... I am collecting Deadpool comics. He is a pretty crazy character. The blog would be about my collecting and the craze of comics. If you have any ideas or feedback let me know? thanks.
